SAFE Girls Project Update: Successful Completion of 2-days Inter-faith/religious leaders' joint workshop to address Harmful Practices linking the activities with the local ECM strategy.
The project is technically and financially supported by KOICA and UNFPA and implemented by Good Neighbors International Nepal in partnership with RDC Nepal.
The Purpose of this workshop was to strengthen the role of religious, traditional and interfaith leaders as advocates and community champions in addressing harmful practices such as child marriage, gender-based discrimination while promoting gender equality, the rights of adolescent girls, and supportive community environments that prevent discriminative gender norms. The participants of the workshop jointly declared to fight for Ending Child Marriages, its consequences and committed to build a fair society and beyond.
