The SAFE Girls Project successfully completed the second batch of a five-day Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) training, implemented in partnership with Good Neighbors International Nepal (GNI Nepal) with technical and financial support from KOICA and UNFPA.

The training was conducted from 18–22 November at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham, with strong technical support from the Provincial Health Training Center (PHTC), Pathlaiya, Bara. Participants included paramedics and nurses representing health posts from the Palikas of Rajpur (Rautahat District) and Basbariya, Haripuruwa, and Kaudena (Sarlahi District).

The sessions were facilitated by experienced trainers—Mr. Girendra Kumar Jha, Mr. Anjum Jha, Dr. Umesh Kumar Yadav, Dr. Sudip Kumar Yadav, and Mr. Anil Yadav—who focused on building practical knowledge and skills to strengthen adolescent-friendly health services. Participants shared that the training significantly enhanced their capacity to deliver quality, community-based ASRH services.

We extend our sincere appreciation to PHTC Pathlaiya, KOICA, UNFPA, GNI Nepal, the organizing team, and all participants for their valuable contributions to the successful completion of this training.
