RDC Nepal has been executing Nepal Integrated Development Program since 2017 under the program we are supporting the needy, vulnerable and disable people in order to uplift their life socially and economically under the program we are implementing integrated approach of support. Through program the people are being supported in different area as per requirement and need. The working areas of the program are water sanitation and hygiene, Health, Nutritional food, Livelihood, Irrigation, Education, DRM and Sponsorship. The coverage are of the program is all eight district of Madhesh Province.
Project Objective - Strengthening the child rights governance and mechanisms through the collective engagement of communities
Key Achievements:
• 482 Sponsored orphan children, families, PWD, and Social Mobilisers been enrolled in Social Protection Scheme – Sponsorship project so far.
• 409 orphans, 29 families, 18 PWD, 2 teachers, 17 students are being continuous supported by the program on quarterly basis and continuing monitoring and updates are being done.
• 119 from Rautahat, 7 from Bara, 14 from Dhanusha, 58 from Mahootari, 10 from Parsa are a sponsorship program part and getting continuous support.
• Among those beneficiaries winterizations cloths, consumption supports have been supported on need basis.
