Medical Screening of Grade 1-3 Students
A school health screening program targeted 141 schools and successfully covered 140, screening 13,622 students out of an expected 29,640—an impressive 45.95% achievement. The screenings identified 736 infected students, including 448 with eye issues and 288 with ear problems, reflecting infection rates of 5% overall, 3.2% eye, and 2.1% ear. Students received basic checkups, and those needing further care were referred to Gaur Eye Hospital. As a result, 418 students received eyeglasses, 310 received medicines, and 7 students were advised to undergo surgery, marking a significant impact on student health and well-being.
