Project inception with Local Governments by RDC Nepal in Gujara & Chandrapur Municipality

The PARIBARTAN CHANGE Project, funded by Australian Aid and ADRA Australia, is implemented by ADRA Nepal in partnership with the Rural Development Center (RDC) Nepal in Chandrapur and Gujara Municipalities of Rautahat District. The project aims to support smallholder farming households, especially women and vulnerable families, to achieve sustainable economic growth and build climate-resilient communities.

A half-day municipality-level Project Inception Workshop for the PARIBARTAN CHANGE Project was successfully organized by ADRA Nepal in Chandrapur Municipality (10 November 2025) and Gujara Municipality (14 November 2025) of Rautahat District. The workshop aimed to orient municipal officials, including elected representatives, department staff, journalists, and other stakeholders, on the project’s overall framework its goal, objectives, implementation modalities, documentation, and reporting procedures. Participants were also informed about the implementing partners, RDC Nepal and ADRA Nepal, including their introduction, thematic areas, working modalities, and organizational history.

The workshop was chaired by Mrs. Kumari Mamata Jha, Vice-Chairperson of RDC Nepal. A total of 70 participants attended, including the Deputy Mayor, Chief Administrative Officer, ward representatives, staff from various departments of both municipalities, journalists, and representatives from cooperatives, other development projects, and project staff from RDC and ADRA Nepal.
